Ashley Paige Riccardi

Ashley Paige Riccardi is an actor and playwright originally from San Antonio, Texas. She will graduate from Baylor University with her BFA in Theatre Performance in 2024. Some notable recent productions include Amelie (Lucien), and James Ijames’s Moon Man Walk (Petrushka). Throughout her undergrad, Ashley also took an interest in surrealist and post-modern styles of theatre, participating in works of both genres during her education at Baylor University.

As a playwright, Ashley is interested in exploring the intricacies and dynamics of the interaction between body and space. She experiments with surrealist styles, minimalist and maximalist styles, as well as farce, expressionism, and many other styles. As a medium, Ashley sees writing as a gate to the unknown, undiscovered, and untouched. Her love of storytelling as an actor translates beautifully to her love of writing. Her most recent reading of her play, “The Amazing Fantastic Psychedelic Adventures of Pierre and Guillaume,” was well received, and she looks forward to finding more homes for her stories.
