Ashling DeGraaf is a passionate performer and storyteller from Spring, Texas. She is pursuing her B.F.A. in Theatre Performance with a concentration in Musical Theatre and a minor in Educational Psychology at Baylor University, expecting to graduate in May of 2026. Before discovering her love for the stage, Ashling trained for over a decade as a competitive Irish dancer, an experience that shaped her artistry, discipline, and joy for connecting with an audience. Since then, she has appeared in a variety of roles that highlight her versatility, including Maria in The Sound of Music (Waco Civic Theatre), Ariel in The Little Mermaid (Stage Right of Texas), Alice in Alice By Heart (Silent House Theatre), Beth March in Little Women (Baylor University), and Desdemona in Othello (Baylor University). She also recently made her feature film debut in I Always Hated My Brother, directed by Chris Hansen. Beyond her academic and theatrical work, Ashling performs professionally as a princess entertainer, where she delights in bringing music, storytelling, and encouragement to children through birthday parties, community events, and volunteer appearances. Ashling is grateful for every opportunity to create meaningful work and continues to dedicate her artistry to stories that uplift, connect, and spark wonder.
